Pretty good
Pretty good
Keeps saying there are no planes in the area. I see 2 or 3 right now.
The app works here in Halifax, ns, Canada. It doesnt pick up all flights, but the majority. I tried it at the cabin about 2 hours from here and it didnt work.
Its just a hoax. They want you to buy the pro version. This does nothing. Zero stars
It would be nice to include the type of plane (B757, A340, etc)
I just got the free version and it crashes immediately all the time with an iPhone 6 running iOS 8. My brother-in-law has the paid version and it crashes all the time now too. He has an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9. Cant recommend this. Seems like a cool app so please fix this major issue
Doesnt work you pay for empty software please dont download
Its working and very usefull.
I tried the app but it doesnt work.
Magnificant application. ✈️
Takes a while to manage the compass when you have flights just in the centre. Maybe a way to lookup at codes resolution should help but the idea behind is great and funny.
Live in central massachusetts and love to point, see it is more than 15 miles away and as it comes towards us we can hear it then we spot it. Not all planes are identified, probably for a good reason. Plane finder isnt good but this is.
So the app is a great concept. Geolocate the user, overlay known air traffic into the map then use the compass / inclinometer to find out the direction and azimuth the user is looking. Problem is that not all of the traffic you see is in the database, and often what shows on the database is not visible to you. The app has a ways to go, but has potential as a novelty.
Why would I want to pay for the app upgrade to get info on a flight when the free version cannot find planes Im seeing in the view finder?! I kept getting an error message of no planes found and a messed up compass. The free version isnt a good endorsement.
Sorry, Im unable to identify registration with this site.
For the whiners here are a couple points to remember. Most planes over the US do not have ADS-B which is needed for a lot of the info needed. Also "BY LAW" there is a delay in the data. No need to make it easy for questionable persons.
For me its a cute toy showing what technology can do. I have no practical use for it but it works ok.
So many airplanes, so little information from this app.
Im not sure what problems others are having with this app, but, I live in the USA, and Im not having any issues at all. No 50 mile blackout, lots of planes showing up, great app, lots of fun. Ive even found the camera does not actually even have to "see" the plane! I can even use the app inside my house! It knows where the panes are from the direction Im pointed. Another great Pinkfroot app!
Great app recommend to all
